Quantity Surveying
- Develop preliminary viability / cost plan.
- Prepare tender documents and send out to multiple contractors.
- Review and analyse tenders and prepare a tender report.
- Carry out cost saving exercises as required.
- Prepare a letter of intent.
- Check contractor’s monthly claim for payment and issue certificate.
- Agree costs for variations and changes.
- Prepare and issue monthly financial statements.
- Agree contractor’s final account.
Project Management
- Establish a project brief and manage the design stage.
- Prepare a project programme and monitor to ensure target dates are met.
- Issue all necessary instructions, notices and certificates required under the contract.
- Monitor the works to ensure drawings and specifications are complied with.
- Monitor progress and quality of workmanship on site.
- Carry out a final inspection of the building and produce a defects list.
